Roles & permissions

Every workspace member has one of four roles — Admin, Branch Manager, Manager, or Agent. This page explains what each role can see and do, including multi-branch behaviour on the Agency plan.

Admin

Full access to every feature and setting. Billing, data import, agency configuration, branch setup (Agency plan), and editing agency details. Typically the owner or principal.

Branch Manager

Same operational access as a Manager, plus Settings → Branches on the Agency plan to manage offices. Cannot access billing, data import, or agency configuration. Works across all branches and can use the branch filter like an Admin.

Manager

Listings, contacts, prospecting, inbox, and most settings — including inviting users. Cannot open Branches configuration, billing, import, or agency configuration (those links appear but are locked). May be assigned to one branch or see the whole workspace depending on branch assignment.

Agent

Frontline negotiator access: listings, contacts, properties, prospecting, and inbox. No Settings link. Agency Performance is hidden. Branch visibility follows assignment; many agents work within a single office.

Branch filter:On the Agency plan with multiple branches, users who are allowed to see more than one office get a branch selector on dashboards; members scoped to a single branch already work in that office's context. See Branches.

Admin-only pages

The following settings areas are restricted to admins only. Branch Managers and Managers may see some links in the sidebar, but opening them shows an Admin access required screen (except Branches, which Branch Managers can open on the Agency plan). Agents do not see the Settings link at all.

  • Agency Configuration

    Territory patches, workspace theme, pipeline settings, and logo.

  • Data Import

    CSV migration from Jupix, Alto, Reapit, Street, and others.

  • Billing & Subscription

    Plan management, invoices, extra seats, and payment details.

Changing a member's role

Admins can change any member's role (including to or from Branch Manager) from Settings → Team & Users. The change takes effect on the member's next page load. See Setting up your team for step-by-step instructions.

Note on plan-gated features

Some features — such as the Agency Performance dashboard, the per-agent 6-month history panel, and multi-branch capabilities — require the right subscription in addition to the correct role. See Billing & plans and Branches.
