What this guide covers

XchangeHero shows a five-step welcome tour the first time you open your dashboard. This page walks through the same flow in depth — with links to importing your data and setting up your team when you are ready.

The welcome tour

When you first land on your agency overview, a full-screen welcome modal introduces five quick wins. Each step explains what to do and includes a button that jumps straight to the right screen. You can go forward and back, minimize the tour to a small chip in the sidebar, skip entirely, or finish on the last step — your choice.

Need help mid-tour?

The footer of the modal links to Contact support inside your workspace — same as /{your-workspace}/settings/support.

The five steps (and where they take you)

These mirror the in-app tour exactly. Replace {your-workspace} with your agency slug from the URL bar.

  • Set up your agency

Configure branding, territory patches, and core agency details from Settings.

    /{your-workspace}/settings

    Foundation before invites and imports.

  • Create your first lead

Open the prospecting pipeline and add or move your first valuation lead.

    /{your-workspace}/prospecting/pipeline

Kanban from first contact through won instruction.

  • Track your listings

Use the listings progression board to see every deal by stage — Pre-Market through completion.

    /{your-workspace}/deals/progression

This is your operational heartbeat once instructions land.

  • Import your data

Bring CSV exports from Jupix, Alto, Reapit, Street, Vebra, Dezrez, Expert Agent, CFP, Muvem, or a generic file.

    /{your-workspace}/settings/migration

See the dedicated import guide for file prep and validation.

  • Automate your inbox

Copy your agency inbox address and start forwarding or CC-ing deal email — AI can log offers, viewings, notes, and more.

    /{your-workspace}/inbox

The final step surfaces your unique inbox address in the tour.

Settings: your control centre

Step one sends everyone to Settings — not just static profile fields. From here you reach agency configuration, patches, billing, support, data import, and team & users.

Prospecting pipeline in context

Step two is about motion: getting leads out of spreadsheets and into a live Kanban. Once a valuation is won here, XchangeHero can create the listing at Pre-Market automatically — see Prospecting & valuations for the full story.

Agency Inbox & AI

The last tour step is your dedicated agency email. Anything you forward or CC there can drive suggested actions — offers, viewings, compliance checks, notes, and attachments. Read AI Inbox Agent for behaviour and confidence scores.

Tip

Minimize the tour instead of skipping it — a chip stays in the sidebar so new admins can reopen the same walkthrough without hunting through menus.
